The Baboux carrier is made of certified European Flax® linen, harvested in Belgium. We are proud to use a fabric that carries the European Flax® and GOTS® certificates, which are your guarantees that your carrier is free of harmful chemicals and is organic.
European flax® is known to be the superior linen. It is fabricated from extra-long fibers, resulting in a remarkably strong, yet notably soft and breathable fabric.
The use of European flax® linen improves our carrier's breathability, durability, thermoregulation, and moisture wicking abilities.
The European flax® certification guarantees the traceability of a premium, natural, and sustainable linen fibre, cultivated GMO free and without irrigation.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the gold standard for the sustainable processing of textile made from organic fibers. It sets stringent environmental as well as social criteria throughout the entire organic textiles supply chain.
All chemicals used in processing and manufacturing must meet strict ecological and toxicological criteria.
Companies, including our fabric mill, carrying the GOTS certificate agree to provide comprehensive data on their energy and water usage and are subject to regular inspections.
